Exam Procedure

Online examinations are generally held twice annually, tentatively scheduled for January and July. The precise dates are announced following notifications from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and are shared with students well in advance. Students must fill out an online examination form through the university's website to reserve their exam slots, selecting their preferred date, time slot, and subjects.

Kurukshetra University (KUK) provides three daily time slots for online exams: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Indian Standard Time. This scheduling flexibility allows students to choose a suitable time for their assessments. Each exam lasts for three hours and includes 42 objective questions worth one mark each and four subjective questions worth seven marks each, culminating in a total of 70 marks per subject. The overall assessment for each course consists of 30% internal assignments and 70% external examinations. Completing internal assignments on time is crucial for eligibility in the external exams. For courses that involve project work, students must email a soft copy of their project report to projects@kukonline.in and upload it to the university's Learning Management System (LMS). Projects must be original, industry-related, and comply with the provided guidelines.
