The School of Open Learning is a division of the Campus of Open Learning, which was started by the University of Delhi in 1962 and was formerly called The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education. The school has begun utilising a Learning Management System (LMS) with a student-friendly web dashboard. We have established more than 30 study centres throughout several University of Delhi colleges for our students' PCP programmes.

Admission procedure:

• The School of Open Learning at Delhi University has a straightforward and elementary admissions procedure. In the event that a student has trouble filling out the online application, they may also visit the university to submit an offline application. Students can also fill out the application form online.
• Students must visit the School of Open Learning's official website and complete out the necessary information to register with the Delhi University institution. After successfully registering, the documents must be uploaded to the website by logging in using the registered Email ID.
• The payment fee panel will show up on the students' screens after all the documents have been uploaded.
• According to the course they choose, students had to apply for funding.
• After taking all of these steps, the university will review the documents again and send a confirmation email or SMS to the registered email ID or contact number.
• For offline applications, the form must be obtained from the internet and personally delivered by visiting the School of Open University's Delhi, North campus.

Candidates have the option of paying online with a credit/debit card or an Internet banking system. In the event of an offline payment, the applicants will pay the costs using Swift, Telegraphic Transfer, or Bank Transfer. For offline payments, the Demand Draft can also be drafted in the name of SOL, Delhi University.

The School of Open Learning, formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, was founded under the University of Delhi in 1962 and is a pioneering institution in the field of distance education in India. It is a component of the Campus of Open Learning. When the School opened its doors to 900 students in 1962, the nation saw the birth of an alternative form of education. More than two lakh students attended the school for the 2006–2007 academic year. Our students have frequently placed first in a variety of fields. The University of Delhi's standards are followed in the admission procedure for the School's various courses. The school provides undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in the fields of commerce and the arts/humanities. The primary teaching medium is well-written, printed course material that is sent to every enrolled student via mail. Our students can download their Demand Letter/Examination Form, which includes information about their Name, SOL Roll Number, Enrolment Number, Marks Earned in Each Subject, Examination Fees, and the Deadline for Submission of Examination Form, and submit it in both an online and offline manner. The payment can also be paid online. The hall tickets can be downloaded on the SOL website and contain a QR Code for rapid student verification. We have admitted more than three lakh students to various UG and PG programmes for the academic year 2013–14 of the annual test.
