The Center for Online Learning (COL) at SASTRA University is the dedicated unit responsible for overseeing and managing the university's online programs. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of online education at SASTRA. The COL works closely with academic departments to develop and deliver high-quality online courses and programs that align with the university's academic standards. At Sastra University, the online courses are taught by certified and professional faculty members who deliver interactive lessons promoting a thorough understanding of the courses. Here, digital platforms are used to deliver lectures, course materials, PDFs, slide shows, assignments, and assessment, allowing students to study at their own pace and schedule. Self-learning print material, along with audio and video programmes and counselling sessions are provided to students to facilitate effective learning. Students are also provided with online support to find a job (Resume-making workshops, career guidance, skill training and mock interviews). The COL provides comprehensive support services to students enrolled in online programs, including technical assistance, academic counseling, and career guidance. 4. Log in to fill out and complete the application form
5. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and academic documents
6. Pay the Online programme fee using your credit card / debit card / UPI / Internet banking

Exam Procedure

Sastra University follows the semester system with two semesters in an academic year. Students are required to maintain an attendance of minimum 75% to appear for the exam. Each exam session has one proctor for every 15 students. The exam consists of two hours and four 20-mark questions. The exam schedule is available on the Sastra website. Students can access the schedule on the Student Web Interface (SWI). The students are graded based on formative assessment in the form of exams, practical’s, projects, seminars, presentations, etc.
